Majid Alsati

(5 November 2008) Majid Alsati (35) has a Master’s degree in development and is a follower of Ayatollah Boroujerdi’s. He was first arrested in October 2006 and is serving a 4-year imprisonment in exile sentence in Zanjan.

He was arrested in October 2006 along with hundreds of Ayatollah Kazemini Boroujerdi’s followers for attempting to stop his arrest. Alsati was kept in Evin Prison’s Section 209. After roughly 11 months in prison, he was temporarily released, but was taken back to prison during the week of 26 October 2008.
