Cartoon 13: Inherited Punishment (For Nasrin Sotoudeh and her Daughter)

As part of what appears to be a new round of pressure on the families of prisoners of conscience in Iran, authorities have begun issuing rulings against their descendants. Recently, lawyer and prisoner of conscience Nasrin Sotoudeh’s 12-year-old daughter Mehraveh received a ruling banning her from foreign travel. The ruling did not indicate any reasons for the travel ban.
