Ali Arbabi

(5 November 2008) Ali Arbabi (38) is a follower of Ayatollah Boroujerdi’s who was first arrested in October 2006 and sentenced to 2 years in prison. He is currently being held in Evin Prison.

He was arrested in October 2006 with hundreds of Ayatollah Kazemini Boroujerdi’s followers for attempting to stop his arrest. Arbabi was kept in Evin Prison’s Section 209 for roughly 11 months. He was temporarily released but was taken back to prison during the week of 26 October 2008.
