Iranian cartoonist Touka Neyestani’s take on Zahra Rahnavard’s message to her family, after five years under house arrest. (The words are from a poem by Ali Akbar Dehkhoda.)

Zahra Rahnavard, her husband Mir Hossein Mousavi, and Mehdi Karroubi, former presidential candidates, have been under house arrest without a trial since February 2011, in the aftermath of the political unrest following the 2009 disputed elections.
