Mehrdad Soori

(5 November 2008) Mehrdad Soori (36) is an electrical technician and was sentenced to 2 years in prison. He is currently being held in Evin Prison.

He was arrested along with hundreds of Ayatollah Kazemini Boroujerdi’s followers for attempting to stop his arrest in October 2006. Soori was kept in Evin Prison’s Section 209. After roughly 11 months in prison, he was temporarily released, but was taken back to prison during the week of 26 October 2008.
