Habib Ghovati

(5 November 2008) Habib Ghovati (30), has a Master’s degree in accounting. He is married and currently serving a 4-year imprisonment in exile sentence in Hamadan.

He was arrested along with hundreds of Ayatollah Kazemini Boroujerdi’s followers for attempting to stop his arrest in October 2006. Samavatyan was kept in Evin Prison’s Section 209. After roughly 11 months in prison, he was temporarily released, but was taken back to prison during the week of 26 October 2008.
