Lauren is the director of development of the Center for Human Rights in Iran, where she leads all fundraising and outreach initiatives, and helps grow the Center’s network of supporters through specialized events, such as an annual art exhibition. Prior to joining the Center, Lauren served as Associate Director for The People’s Portfolio, a nonprofit organization founded by the acclaimed photographer, Platon, where she spearheaded all fundraising and communications efforts, and managed nonprofit partnerships with Human Rights Watch, Physicians for Human Rights and Panzi Hospital and Foundations. Lauren received her PhD in History of Art from the University of Cambridge, England in 2015 and her BA from Georgetown University.
